Terms & Conditions

PAYMENT

Payment should be made by cheque when booking OR a £10 deposit per fair, with full settlement at least 14 days before the event (28 days for Duncombe Park and St Nicholas Fairs). Deposits must be sent to confirm e-mail bookings. Deposits are not refundable. The organisers reserve the right not to accept bookings for any reason, and to relet space not paid in full by due date. .

CANCELLATIONS

In the event of cancellation by the organiser, any payments made will be refunded in full, but no liability is accepted for any other loss. In the event of cancellation by the exhibitor, any fee paid will be credited if cancelled more than 21 days before the event (28 days Duncombe Park and St Nicholas) but the full fee is payable for any cancellations within 21 days of the event (28 days Duncombe Park and St Nicholas)

INSURANCE

All exhibitors are advised to have their own public liability insurance (and where applicable product insurance) and exhibitors indemnify the organiser against damage or claims caused by themselves. All good exhibited, and any packaging or labelling, must comply with all current regulations.

ELECTRICITY

All electrical equipment used by the exhibitor must have a current safety certificate issued by a qualified electrical contractor. Use of equipment other than lighting should be cleared with the organiser.

FAIR TIMES

Fair times are listed in the schedule of fairs (normally 9.30 to 4.30) and must be adherred to. Setting up is normally from 8am on the day of the fair (10am Guisborough). Goods exhibited must be as stated when booking. Free space is normally available for craft demonstrations.

CHILDREN

Exhibitors children under the age of 16 are not permitted at Duncombe Park and St. Williams College, York.
