Our Commitment to Exhibitors
1. Free Admission to all Fairs
We have always had a strict policy of FREE ADMISSION to our fairs. We believe
that the public object in principal to the practice of some organisers of making
them pay for admission, and that this practice is unfair both to the craftspeople
exhibiting and to the public, and deters a large number of potential visitors
and customers.
The only exception to our policy is for fairs at Duncombe Park and St William's College, York, where there is a modest charge for entry to the house and historic building where the fairs are held - but only half the normal admission price.
Our policy is designed to encourage maximum attendance at the fairs, in
the interests of our exhibitors.
2. Prestigious Locations
All our fairs are held in prestigious locations where you can be proud to exhibit
your work, and which will attract the right sort of visitor. We use only the
most prestigious hotels in the region, and well known halls. When we take up
new venues, we ensure that they are in attractive visitor locations where there
will be a large volume of foot traffic and visitors to the area.
3. Advertising & Publicity
Our fairs are well advertised in local and regional press, plus a range
of visitor magazines, what's on features etc.
4. Internet Advertsing
All our fairs are featured on our website on the Internet, with helpful maps
and information.
5. Competitive Table Rates
Particularly when compared with organisers who also charge for admission.
6. Special Terms for New Exhibitors
Special rates to help new exhibitors establish themselves at the fairs.
7. Free Demonstration Space
Free space is normally available to craftworkers who can demonstrate making their goods.

If due to circumstances beyond our control, a fair has to be cancelled or postponed,
we guarantee to refund any deposits or money paid immediately in full and without
question
